After Motiv Power Systems retrofitted five vans with an electric driveline in 2021, Purolator has ordered an additional 55 step vans, powered by electric drive systems assembled by Motiv Power Systems and fitted on Ford chassis.

In 2024, Hino plans to offer an electric version of its M and L series medium-duty trucks, branded as the M5e and L6e Series by integrating SEA Electric’s SEA-Drive power system.

Special drive modes, including off-road, manual, paver, split-shaft and rocking modes, and multiple PTO options have all been designed with rugged vocational applications in mind.

The truck cab is uniquely designed in the style of a walk-in van, with a sliding door and weather-proof steps for entry and exit and an interior measuring 85 inches in height and 88.5 inches in width.
