President Transnet Corporation, a leading Taiwanese logistics company, is the first company in the country to commit to the eCanter in advance of its official launch in the country early next year. The company operates one of the largest truck fleets in the country which includes close to 1,700 Fuso units.

BYD says it plough USD 580 million into a new factory on the premises of an old Ford facility in Camaçari, Bahia, Brazil which closed in January 2021. The factory will consist of three separate facilities, one will focus on chassis production for the electric bus and truck market, the second will build electric passenger vehicles and the third, components for both commercial and passenger vehicles.

Higer completed the delivery of 780 Higer Buses worth USD55m to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the “Belt and Road Initiative”, signifying the largest ever bus export from China to Saudi Arabia.
