Iveco Bus has delivered its first batch of diesel ICE Crossway buses (order of 370) to Dakar, Senegal, with the remaining units to be delivered by the end of Q1 2024, along with a batch of spare parts and tools needed for maintenance and upkeep ensuring optimum efficiency and performance.

They will join a fleet of 84 electric buses already delivered or on order from Wrightbus to Arriva London last year.

The 1000th vehicle was one out of 17 ‘E12’ battery electric buses which were ordered by Transdev for Heathrow Airport Terminal 5.

The first batch of 12 ‘E12’ buses were revealed in late January to attendees from stakeholders such as Nottingham City Council and electric charging firm Zenobē.

Throughout 2024, Ballard will supply 100 hydrogen fuel cell engines (FCmove-HD) to power New Flyer’s Xcelsior Charge FC buses in North America. The engines will be produced in Ballard’s Oregon Facility in the U.S.A.
