A pilot scheme involving four Wrightbus ‘Hydroliners’ will start early next year, transporting workers to and from the construction site near Leiston.

Three model variants of the Ciao eMillenium have been supplied.

The truck model delivered was the Volkswagen 6x2e-Delivery electric truck at 14 tons gvw.

The 12-metre bus, dubbed ‘Lion’s Explorer E’, was supplied to Golden Arrow Bus Services for pilot testing in Cape Town, South Africa.

Ballard will supply fuel cell systems as part of the development of a Ford FCEV prototype truck in Turkey. The deal initially will see Ballard supply two FCmove XD 120 kW fuel cell engines planned for Q4, 2023 delivery. The engines will be integrated into Ford F-Max 44-tonne long-haul tractors as part of developing the Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) F-MAX prototype.

The Type A school buses will be built by Pegasus Specialty Vehicles LLC of Dunkirk, Ohio on Phoenix Motor’s battery electric cab-chassis.

The exhibition, which took place from the 6th to the 7th of September, attracted over 150 exhibitors involved in low-carbon mobility. The exhibition had a small collection of companies dedicated to the commercial vehicle market sector.

Series production of the Lion’s City E range began at Starachowice, Poland in October 2020.
