Strong sales and order book for Meteor extra heavy-duty tractor trucks, says VWCO.

The Special Vehicles division of Terberg successfully tested an autonomous terminal tractor in mixed traffic operations at the Lineage Logistics terminal in Vlissingen, Netherlands, using technology supplied by EasyMile.

The American company's T-Series range of electric terminal tractors, which will feature improvements to connectivity, will now be released under the ‘e-TRIEVER’ brand.

Allison Transmission Inc, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, has announced an agreement with Mack Trucks Inc, headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina. Under the agreement, Allison’s 3000 Rugged Duty Series (RDS) transmission will be offered in the Mack Class 6 and Class 7 MD truck series.

Columbus, Indiana-based power systems manufacturer Cummins Inc has released a new electric powertrain for terminal tractors. The new PowerDrive 8000 will support gross vehicle weights from 36 tonnes to 88.5 tonnes.
