The ‘Thermo HV’, which is designed specifically for electric vehicles, accommodates an input voltage between 600 and 875 volts and delivers a variable heat output of up to 12 kW.

Chereau’s new Vacuum Insulated Panel technology that increases insulation by 20% for long-distance transportation compared with its previous panel technology and thereby decrease the use of fuel for refrigeration cooling. It also increases the range of refrigerated trailers with battery-powered electric units.

Slated for completion by 2026, the new battery system will utilise a new generation of battery cells (GEN4) to be developed by Blue Solutions and integrated by Forsee Power into its battery systems, with Bluebus then making use of this new lithium-ion NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) battery in its 6 and 12-metre electric buses.
