The companies include Italian bus manufacturer, Rampini Carlo SpA, South Korea’s NGVI Inc (Next Generation Vehicles International) and Australia’s, Aluminium Revolutionary Chassis Company (ARCC).

The plant is responsible for producing biomethane from agricultural waste from surrounding farms.

SKF has said that Tenute, a firm based in Italy, will be integrated into its own Seals business.

The new Crossway Low Entry Hybrid, available in XTL1 (X-To-Liquid) renewable fuel and Natural Gas versions, as Class I for city use and Class II for suburban, with deliveries expected in early 2023.

The factory is fully dedicated to the production of electric drivetrain range including electric axles, electric motors for central drive applications and battery packs for light commercial vehicles, minibuses, buses and medium and heavy commercial vehicles.

The two companies are working on a vehicle concept, called ‘Sixtron’, which will bring together Rampini’s line of ‘E60’ battery-electric buses and Perrone’s ‘TONY’ autonomous driving retrofit kit.

At the recent New Mobility Exhibition in Milan, the companies announced that IVECO Bus customers will have the option to integrate Via’s on-board demand transport transit tech software in early 2023.

Iveco Bus officially unveiled a biomethane compatible 18m long Urbanway Hybrid compressed natural gas (CNG) bus at Autocar - with other models lengths also announced with this new drivetrain combination.
