With Fernride’s technology, drivers will be able to “teleoperate” the tractors – that is to say, they will be able to drive them remotely – and take advantage of assistance systems that Terberg and Fernride will “gradually” develop in order to make the vehicles more and more autonomous.

The facility includes a 15,000-square-foot workshop with all the necessary infrastructure to service traditional internal combustion engine-powered trucks as well as electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles.

The contract, with the Swedish public operator, Svealandstrafiken, comprises 23 Ebusco 3.0 13.5-metre Class II e-buses with an option to purchase an additional 41.

Element 25 has agreed to supply manganese sulphate monohydrate to Stellantis over five years, beginning in 2026 – providing a total of 45 kilotons, which will be used in the manufacture of battery cells for Stellantis’ electric vehicles.
