The reefer semi-trailer is equipped with a Carrier electric refrigeration system that is powered when the vehicle is stationary by a battery charged by an electric grid connection, and, when in motion, by regenerative braking energy produced by a Valx electric trailer axle, eliminating emissions from the refrigeration equipment.

The contract, with the Swedish public operator, Keolis Sverige, comprises 50 Ebusco 3.0 12-metre e-buses with an option to purchase an additional 75.

Ebusco announced it is to supply German public transport operator Südwestdeutsche Landesverkehrs GmbH (SWEG) with another 25 Ebusco 2.2 12-metre buses after the same company ordered 10 last year which are now in operation.

Having purchased the full “e-package solution,” Daimler will install and manage electric charging points (pantographs) at HTM’s depot in the Hague.

The two XDC 450 8x4s will operate in Greenwich Wharf and will shortly be followed by two identical trucks, which are currently being bodied.

First Bus will convert the York depot by installing new electric charging infrastructure provided by Heliox.
