The company posted revenues of EUR 41.7 million in H1 2023. Ebusco’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) was EUR - 43.5 million leading to an overall loss of EUR - 35.8 million.

Ebusco announced it has signed a framework agreement with Frankfurt Airport operator Fraport to deliver four twelve-metre-long Ebusco 3.0 buses, marking the first time an Ebusco vehicle will be used at an airport.

In the first half of 2023, Ebusco delivered fewer buses than expected and the penalties for delays impacted the financial performance of the company. This was due to supply chain disruptions and labour shortages.

Ebusco’s Management Board now consists of Peter Bijvelds (CEO), Jurjen Jongma (CFO) and Bob Fleuren (COO). 

Iveco has unveiled its new HD BEV (Heavy-Duty Battery Electric Vehicle) and HD FCEV (Heavy-Duty Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles) under the Iveco brand. 

The official handover will take place on September 1, 2023. Bosmans has been at DAF for 19 years and has held positions in operations, quality control and sales, including the key position of Director of Operations for PACCAR Financial Europe.

DAF’s new generation combustion engine trucks (LF and XD series as well as certain XF, XG and XG+ trucks) are able to use Hydrogen Vegetable Oil (HVO), a biofuel the company claims can reduce CO2 by 90% compared with diesel. For operators, these new generation trucks can utilise HVO without any modifications whilst emulating their performance and service intervals of up to 200,000 kilometres.

Rocsys will use the money to scale up and bring its product - an autonomous charger for electric vehicles - to market in the United States and Europe.

The vehicle will operate in the port of Rotterdam and in order to transport containers, the DAF CF Electric rigid combination is equipped with an electrically driven HIAB hook arm in combination with a 23-metre crane.

The reefer semi-trailer is equipped with a Carrier electric refrigeration system that is powered when the vehicle is stationary by a battery charged by an electric grid connection, and, when in motion, by regenerative braking energy produced by a Valx electric trailer axle, eliminating emissions from the refrigeration equipment.

The contract, with the Swedish public operator, Keolis Sverige, comprises 50 Ebusco 3.0 12-metre e-buses with an option to purchase an additional 75.

Ebusco announced it is to supply German public transport operator Südwestdeutsche Landesverkehrs GmbH (SWEG) with another 25 Ebusco 2.2 12-metre buses after the same company ordered 10 last year which are now in operation.
