The milestone vehicle, a white DAF XG, was officially delivered to Dutch customer Kleijn Transport.

‘ROC-1’ is robotic charger which wirelessly communicates with the vehicle to insert the cable into the charging port and to remove the cable when charging is done.

DAF has announced expansion of its Eindhoven manufacturing plant to accommodate the assembly of its electric truck range, with series production of the XD and XF Electric range to commence in spring 2023.

The mixed vehicle order consists of new electric and diesel trucks from UK commercial vehicle retailer, the Asset Alliance Group, with deliveries to begin in late 2023.
