Earlier this year, Sunsundegui, a coachbuilder specialising in luxury and interurban vehicles, went into liquidation, according to a local news report (in Spanish).

The combined company will operate as under the Aebi Schmidt name, headquartered in Burgdorf, Bern, Switzerland.
