Chile closed the third quarter with a decrease in sales of heavy commercial vehicles by almost 20% to 1,332 registrations (trucks and buses) compared with 1,664 units in the previous period, according to ANAC.

In line with most Latin American markets, the Colombian CV market finished the period January to September 2024 with a 27.7% decrease in sales, according to data from Andemos.

Sales of commercial vehicles (trucks, buses, and minibuses) grew by 4.5% in Peru during January to September 2024 to 13,458 units compared with 12,881 units in the same period in 2023, according to the AAP.

Truck and bus registrations above 6 tons gvw in Argentina from January to end of September totaled 10,512 heavy commercial vehicles, a 5.7% decrease compared with 11,148 units registered in the same period of 2023.
