The Caetano UNVI C21 electric bus is a new low-floor 12-metre urban electric bus featuring an electric chassis (e.chassis) from Caetano capable of fitting a battery capacity of up to 420 kWh and UNVI’s steel structured single deck body meeting EC rollover regulation (R66).

According to a new agreement between CaetanoBus and Industria Italiana (IIA), the companies are to work together to construct hydrogen buses in Italy. The hydrogen FC buses will be co-branded with Toyota (the fuel cell supplier) with start of production at IIA's factory in Bologna, Italy, scheduled for Q4/2024.

Following a collaboration agreement reached in 2018 between Caio and Caetano, the latter has announced it recently started demonstrations of its new 12-metre low floor battery electric bus in São Paulo, Brazil.

High demand for CaetanoBus's H2.CityGold hydrogen fuel cell city bus, especially from German cities

CaetanoBus to make major investments in products and manufacturing to expand production and sales of its zero emission buses.

Air Liquide SAS, based in Paris, CaetanoBus S.A., located in Porto, and Toyota Motor Corp, headquartered in Toyota, have signed a memorandum of understanding with the intention of developing integrated hydrogen solutions, including infrastructure and heavy-duty vehicles.

Under TMB’s “Strategic Plan 2025”, 100% of vehicle purchases by TMB will be low-emission vehicles, with 62% of them expected to be zero-emission.

CaetanoBus S.A., headquartered in Porto, Portugal, has announced it has won two international tenders to supply ten H2.City Gold buses to Düsseldorf’s operator Rheinbahn, and eight units to SSB Stuttgart. The orders add to more than 40 H2.City Gold buses already in service in Germany.

Bus and coach builder, CaetanoBus, has announced it will be co-branding its zero emission buses with Toyota. This move follows the bus builder’s change in share ownership in December 2020.

Louwman Group and CaetanoBus have signed a sales agent and maintenance agreement for CaetanoBus’s zero-emission buses for the Dutch market.

CaetanoBus has won an order from Wiesbaden, Germany for ten H2.CityGold 12m hydrogen fuel cell buses for delivery in the last quarter of 2021.

Transport operator, RATP Group in Paris has begun its first trial of a CaetanoBus H2.CityGold fuel cell powered bus on bus routes 189 and 21.
