The 8-ton gvw buses are produced by J-Bus, a bus-producing joint venture between Hino and Isuzu Motors.

Proterra, whose shares nearly halved in value after the bell on Monday the 7th of August 2023, listed its assets and liabilities in the range of USD 500 million to USD 1 billion. The company says it has a market value of USD 309 million and is currently trading at USD 0.15 a share as of Thursday the 10th of August.

The system was announced last year and is expected to generate 200 kW of power from a single stack, enabling 20 per cent more range per kilogram of hydrogen compared to the 120-kW system, which significantly improves the total cost of ownership of H2 trucks.

DAF’s new generation combustion engine trucks (LF and XD series as well as certain XF, XG and XG+ trucks) are able to use Hydrogen Vegetable Oil (HVO), a biofuel the company claims can reduce CO2 by 90% compared with diesel. For operators, these new generation trucks can utilise HVO without any modifications whilst emulating their performance and service intervals of up to 200,000 kilometres.

The company recently installed more than 6,000 photovoltaic solar panels on the roof of the Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth, Germany. The system generates 3,000 MWh of electricity a year.

‘Trigenius’ is the name for the company’s latest range of tipper bodies for 2-, 3-, and 4-axle configurations, the largest taking a nominal load of up to 28 tonnes.

The new marker and clearance lights offer increased light size when compared to a conventional “penny-style” light, while still fitting a standard 3/4-inch hole.

The seat comes in three different ranges: Luxury, Comfort or Standard and comes with an optional installation kit.

Five models will be built this summer, with another 15 or so to follow by the end of the third quarter; following these, Bollinger will launch commercial production for deliveries beginning July 2024.
