The new R&D centre houses 900 staff and 28 test cells including a fuel cell lab, powertrain lab, transmission lab and H2 ICE test cell. The staff use the facilities to conduct numerous component and engine tests relating to reliability, durability, noise and vibration harshness (NVH), as well as environment and extreme climate testing.
