Karsan has delivered the first four of 24, 18-metre e-ATA buses to Italian public transport operator, TPER. These buses are set to operate in the city of Bologna.

Seating 75 passengers, these double-deckers are built on a BYD chassis and driveline.

The bus rolled off the production line in Czech Republic at Iveco’s Vysoke Myto plant, one of Europe’s largest bus manufacturing facilities.

The low-floor hydrogen-powered 12-metre fuel cell bus debuted at the show. Equipped with ZF front steer and AxTrax drive axles and 15 – 45 kWh traction batteries from Impact Clean Power, the bus is currently being tested in Germany.
