Electric-powered medium and heavy-duty vehicle manufacturer, GreenPower Motor Company Inc, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, has appointed Peterson Trucks Inc as its official school bus dealer in the state of Oregon, with plans to expand throughout the USA.

The two companies will work together to make an emissions aftertreatment system for Westport's hydrogen "high pressure direct injection" (HPDI) product.

The contract with Winnipeg Transit stipulates a firm order for 16 electric buses, comprising an equal proportion of battery- and fuel-cell-electric drivelines.
