CaetanoBus supplied 12 H2.City Gold electric hydrogen-powered buses for the Paris Olympic Games.

The funding is to be used to support deployment of 350 fully air-conditioned, 9-metre electric buses across eight cities in Uttar Pradesh.

Chai will be at the centre as the company looks to scale up production at its Gigafactory in Voderady, Slovakia, after securing significant funding from the Slovakian Development Bank earlier this year.

All of the buses are Viking models fitted with Ashok Leyland’s iGen6 BS VI, H Series engine.

The project will evaluate the performance of these fuel cell electric buses in the Delhi NCR region's challenging climate, focussing on how local fuel and air quality affect the buses' efficiency, longevity, and operational reliability in transit bus fleets.

The company is set to supply its high-voltage eFan system to a global commercial vehicle OEM for use in the North American markets, which marks the biggest single eFan system contract in North America for BorgWarner.

The milestone (an Iveco eDaily) vehicle is headed to British retailer Tesco, which ordered 571 of these e-Daily vans as the company aims to transition its home delivery operations to using fully electric vehicles in the UK by 2030.

BYD will deliver 120 e-buses to South African bus operator Golden Arrow, marking the first electric bus fleet in the country. The first batch of electric buses will be delivered to Cape Town in Q4 2024, with full delivery by the end of 2025.

This deal will create significant revenues for Ceres through licensing fees, royalty payments, engineering services and hardware over multiple years. The majority of the revenue generated will come through royalty payments on any hydrogen delivered to the end customers.

The e-buses will operate on the island of Yakushima, a Unesco World Heritage site.

The first batch of 20 trucks has already been delivered, and they are now operating across Maritime’s 41 sites in Britain.

This order will replace end-of-life diesel ICE buses with new battery-electric GX 337 ELEC (12 metres) and the GX 437 ELEC (18 metres) Heuliez buses. These buses are scheduled for delivery between Q4 2025 and Q1 2026.
