First Hydrogen’s HFC-powered LCVs recently received type approval certification from the Vehicle Certification Authority (VCA) in Britain.

The companies include Italian bus manufacturer, Rampini Carlo SpA, South Korea’s NGVI Inc (Next Generation Vehicles International) and Australia’s, Aluminium Revolutionary Chassis Company (ARCC).

The vehicle is equipped with a Paccar MX-13 12.9 litre 510 hp engine, a Paccar TX-12 automated transmission, and a 21-gallon diesel tank as well as the Aurora Driver level 4 autonomous driving software. 

The plant is responsible for producing biomethane from agricultural waste from surrounding farms.
