Daimler Truck AG has upgraded its Mercedes-Benz OC 500 bus chassis for Euro VI engines with new models for both the RF (raised floor) and LE (low entry) models. The new variant features ADAS systems such as sideguard and brake assist to improve safety.

Renault S.A.S, based in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, has entered a partnership with San Diego, California-based telecommunications giant Qualcomm Inc. Under the agreement, the two firms will work to develop next-generation telematics and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The two companies will collaborate in the development of automated yard logistics and intelligent predictive cruise control.
