The system was announced last year and is expected to generate 200 kW of power from a single stack, enabling 20 per cent more range per kilogram of hydrogen compared to the 120-kW system, which significantly improves the total cost of ownership of H2 trucks.

Volker Ritzert has become the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BMZ Germany, effective August 1, 2023. Ritzert replaces outgoing CEO, Sven Bauer, who becomes Group CEO.

Go-Ahead will operate one of the UK’s biggest bus charging depots with electric charging infrastructure provided by Zenobe.

Under the agreement, charging stations for Commercial Vehicles (CVs) will be placed every 120km along the EU’s main highways by 2028, whilst hydrogen refuelling stations will be installed at least every 200km by 2031.

The order comprises 135 E-Way buses in the 12-metre version and 90 articulated buses measuring 18 metres. 28 of these will be Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) models. The buses are to be produced at Iveco’s new Italian bus building plant in Foggia, Southern Italy.
