Allison Transmission Inc and Hyzon Motors Inc have been selected to provide the propulsion system for the UK’s first hydrogen fuel cell-powered refuse truck. Aberdeen City council has chosen to pair a 250kW Hyzon electric motor with Allison’s 3000 Series transmission in conjunction with a 45kW hydrogen fuel cell.

BorgWarner Inc, based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, has received an award of USD4.09 million from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to design and develop a cost-effective and advanced DC fast charger.
