Bogotá invests in hydrogen buses - consortium involving Superpolo to deliver buses in July.

To strengthen the Mercedes-Benz truck service and sales network in Western Germany, Daimler Truck has opened a new 6,200 square metre Commercial Vehicle (CV) centre in Haan. It includes a high-voltage work stations for BEVs and a new warehouse capable of stocking more than 10,000 spare parts.

Currently, in its fifth generation, the Profi Liner now features a new multi-lock outer frame, more than 3,000 lashing possibilities for securing loads and is now available with numerous telematics functions.

The CeTrax lite is made for commercial vehicles weighing under 7.5 tonnes and is geared towards inner city and last-mile applications.

These buses will be delivered in September 2023 and will operate in Germany’s Middle Franconia region.

The new facility will house up to 480 technicians and 100 commercial staff with the aim of training staff in both vehicle repair and maintenance as well as customer-facing skills that will be put into use in Iveco dealerships.

First Bus will convert the Leicester depot by installing new electric charging infrastructure provided by Heliox.

The Net Zero Hydrogen Fund was launched in May 2022 to provide up to GBP240m to support new low-carbon and renewable hydrogen production projects in the UK - 15 recipients were awarded in the first funding round.

The new generation Setra MultiClass 500 LE series comes in four models, ranging in length from 10.51 to 14.52 metres on two as well as three axles. Daimler states it has been designed for a wide range of applications, from peri-urban to long-distance inter-city transport in sparsely populated regions.

This sensational revenue growth was, in large part, due to the order book growing from 325 to 1,474 buses including orders totalling 388 for its most advanced model yet, the Ebusco 3.0.

The new laboratories will be jointly managed by MAN and two institutes of higher education: the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) and the Technical University of Nuremberg Georg Simon Ohm (“Ohm”).

Four prototype trucks were tested for their overall energy management, the cooling and thermal management of the batteries, and the effect of temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees Celsius on powertrain components and charging.
