Volker Ritzert has become the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BMZ Germany, effective August 1, 2023. Ritzert replaces outgoing CEO, Sven Bauer, who becomes Group CEO.

Daimler aims to produce the first battery cells by the end of 2023 and the first prototype battery system by 2024.

Ebusco announced it is to supply German public transport operator Südwestdeutsche Landesverkehrs GmbH (SWEG) with another 25 Ebusco 2.2 12-metre buses after the same company ordered 10 last year which are now in operation.
