The 1,500 ‘FH Aero’ diesel trucks have been ordered as part of a wholesale fleet renewal by Lanutti Group.

Now, in an attempt to plug the hole in the budget sheet by producing more buses and therefore fulfilling orders, the company is re-introducing the use of contract manufacturing through assembly partners in China to aid the main factory in Deurne.

Stagecoach has ordered another 244 ADL vehicles, 180 Enviro400EV double-deckers and the single-decker 54 Enviro200EVs (10.9m and 11.7m versions). This is the first order for Alexander Dennis’s new integral single-decker.

Manufactured at the Wörth truck plant, the three-axle, all-wheel-drive Zetros (6x6) is now available as an armoured vehicle. The two-axle 4x4 to the four-axle 8x8 as an armoured vehicle will be offered from 2025.

Founded in 1984 by Piet Knapen, the company has evolved into the European market leader in the moving floor trailer segment. In 2019 Krone Commercial Vehicle Group acquired 100% of the shares of the Knapen Group.

The public demonstration of the prototype took place in the town of Plattling and was attended by Bavarian State Minister for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, Hubert Aiwanger, and Professor Monika Schnitzer, who is the Chairwoman of the German Council of Economic Experts, along with two hundred guests.

These charging hubs will be built at existing MAN service sites across Europe, primarily in industrial areas or next to motorways.

On its website, Spheros is promoting thermal management products for various applications, including buses, refrigerated vehicles, and e-mobility.

The company was previously occupying a shared facility with Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars. The new premises was already home to Daimler Truck UK’s parts logistics centre with a 140,000-square-foot warehouse. 

The company has now built a pavilion named the “Actros 600 Experience World” in Wörth, where customers, clients and the general public can learn about the vehicle as well as the company’s history. Daimler is attempting to educate the public on the need for electrification as it rolls out its zero-emission product range.

Valeo says it will also be partnering with Seeing Machines to offer a “best-in-class” full system for interior sensing, available to the passenger car and commercial vehicle segments.

The latest update to the TracKing platform is the result of a collaboration with ZF Group which was first announced last year.
