Allison Ventures is tasked with investing in and partnering with early stage growth companies that drive technology advancement across the CV mobility industry. The company has said that it will specifically focus on technologies relating to connectivity, digitalisation, sustainability, automation and electrification.

The company announced plans to electrify the HTM bus depot in the Hague, Netherlands. Construction has begun, with the depot expected to be up and running by Q3 2024. The supply agreement includes the chargers, installation, maintenance,  charging management software as well as the delivery of 95 Mercedes-Benz eCitaro city buses.

The HVCH is expected to go into production in Q1 2026. This is the third contract that has been secured for this product, which is specifically designed for the heating of a BEV’s battery and cabin.

The initial phase will target hydrogen refuelling stations (under the TotalEnergies brand) in Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Germany over the next three years.
