Chile closed the third quarter with a decrease in sales of heavy commercial vehicles by almost 20% to 1,332 registrations (trucks and buses) compared with 1,664 units in the previous period, according to ANAC.

South Korea’s commercial vehicle market over 2 tons gvw continued to decline in the second quarter of 2024, by over 12% to 53,662 units from 61,318 units in the same period of last year.

The Philippine market for commercial vehicles over 2 tons gvw continued to grow in the second quarter of 2024, by just over 4% to 29,273 units from 28,094 units a year earlier.

Japan’s commercial vehicle market over 2 tons gvw continued to decline in the second quarter of 2024, by over 6% to 81,114 units from 86,752 units a year earlier.
