In total Volvo delivered 1,429 vehicles in Latin America during 2024 with Chile (238 and Peru (162) being the main continental export markets.

In the first quarter of 2025, 27,749 trucks and 5,528 buses were registered on the Brazilian market.

The Malaysian commercial vehicle market over 2 tons gvw declined by 11% to 19,379 units in the fourth quarter of 2024 from 21,804 in the same period of the previous year.

The Indonesian market for commercial vehicles over 2 tons gvw bounced by 10% year-on-year to 37,677 units in the fourth quarter of 2024 after plunging by 29% to 34,126 units a year earlier.

Japan’s commercial vehicle market over 2 tons gvw shrank by 11% to 80,450 units in the fourth quarter of 2024 from 90,750 units in the same period of the previous year.

Sales of commercial vehicles over 2 tons gvw in East Asia’s seven main markets, excluding China, declined by 16% to 268,373 in the fourth quarter of 2024 from 319,099 units a year earlier.
