The German retrofitter is developing a new range of vehicles, including a 12-metre bus and light and heavy trucks.

The 118 MCI coaches and 55 New Flyer vehicles, ordered as part of an existing six-year supply agreement, will serve to connect New Jersey with Pennsylvania and New York.

EV builder The Lion Electric Co. of Saint-Jérôme, Quebec, has announced it has received a conditional purchase order of 1,000 electric LionC school buses from Student Transportation of Canada (STC), a subsidiary of Student Transportation of America.

Bus and coach manufacturer Irizar Group, based in Ormaiztegi, Spain, has announced it has manufactured its first series production model of the i4 LNG coach. It is now available to order, built on a Scania 320 EB 4x2 chassis, equipped with a 9 litre, 320 hp Scania LNG engine.

The 200-kW powertrain, to be marketed across the world, is developed entirely by Volvo and is suited for single deck and double deck applications.

Capital Metro of Austin, Texas have placed an order for 26 ZX5 Elextric Bus units, with the option to purchase an additional 126 plus charging equipment over the next five years.
