KG Mobility (known previously as Ssangyong Motor Company), has bought electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, Edison Motors Company, and will change the name to KGM Commercial.

Proterra, whose shares nearly halved in value after the bell on Monday the 7th of August 2023, listed its assets and liabilities in the range of USD 500 million to USD 1 billion. The company says it has a market value of USD 309 million and is currently trading at USD 0.15 a share as of Thursday the 10th of August.

Lohscheller will be replaced by Board Chairman Stephen Girsky, a former General Motors executive. Girsky will remain on the Board of Directors and Steve Shindler, a Director since October 2020, will serve as Chairman of the Board.

DAF’s new generation combustion engine trucks (LF and XD series as well as certain XF, XG and XG+ trucks) are able to use Hydrogen Vegetable Oil (HVO), a biofuel the company claims can reduce CO2 by 90% compared with diesel. For operators, these new generation trucks can utilise HVO without any modifications whilst emulating their performance and service intervals of up to 200,000 kilometres.

The company has signed a European sales and service agreement with German EV charging service provider GP Joule Connect, for Germany, Denmark, Austria, and Poland. Kempower will be responsible for the installation, operation, service and maintenance of its EV charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, which also include CVs.

Having spent his entire professional career at the company, Goetz (52) took over the position of CFO in July 2021 and was largely responsible for the successful spin-off of Daimler Truck Holding from what is now the Mercedes-Benz Group in December 2021.
