Hong Kong-based Ev Dynamics has announced the delivery of 70 units of its 6.5 metre COMET electric minibus to the Philippines.

The transport authority will no longer purchase diesel or hybrid buses, with the aim of transitioning to an entirely zero-emissions fleet by 2034.

The buses will be delivered by the end of 2022 for service in Amman following a USD32m tender financed by the EBRD.

Bus manufacturer Wrightbus of Ballymena, Northern Ireland, has announced two single-deck zero emission buses. The company showcased the hydrogen-powered GB Kite Hydroliner at Cenex LCV21, with the same e-systems powering the battery-powered GB Kite Electroliner.
