To drive up consumer interest the company has been publishing many of its tests. The latest voyage saw the eActros travel from the Mercedes plant in Wörth, Germany, to Aksaray in Turkey. The 3,000km route was designed to test the vehicle’s safety systems, durability and performance.

Continental has sold its Kaluga plant in Russia to S8 Capital, whilst Michelin has signed an agreement to sell two of its local companies, Michelin Russia Tyre Manufacturing Company and Camso CIS, to Power International Tires, one of Russia’s main tyre distributors.

A definitive agreement is set to be signed in the first quarter of 2024, with the transaction to be completed by the end of 2024, pending legal and regulatory approval. Duvenbeck will receive its first vehicles from MAN in 2024 and will take further deliveries through 2026, which will make it one of the first customers to acquire the new truck model.

EYES will be renamed as ‘Quantron Italy srl’ and will be responsible for assembling and marketing Quantron vehicles for the Italian market.
