The company has announced it is set to supply fuel cell systems to an unnamed hydrogen-electric fire truck OEM, marking a milestone for the company. Loop Energy will install two of its T505 fuel cell systems in the fire truck.  

FPT has signed an agreement with Reefilla to launch a second-life battery project using Iveco’s eBS37 battery packs. Once these batteries are no longer suitable for use, they will be delivered to Reefilla’s headquarters in Turin and repurposed in stationary storage units for charging stations.

The company has signed a framework agreement with Norwegian food retailer, ASKO, to build fast-charging infrastructure for its electric trucks at its 13 logistics depots in various parts of Norway.

The agreement is with two Chinese vehicle manufacturers.

The partnership could be worth up to USD 1 billion and in a statement, BorgWarner said ‘it plans to integrate Onsemi’s EliteSiC 1200 V and 750 V power devices into its power modules for traction inverters.’

Starting in January 2025, the Urbasolar group will supply Keolis with an annual 18 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of electricity generated at French solar farms. This will allow Keolis to supplement its energy supply at a fixed, long-term price, whilst reducing its CO2 emissions by an estimated 290 tonnes of per year.

The project is to bring together the new Fuso eCanter, which was launched earlier this year, and Ample’s Modular Battery Swapping technology. The eCanter is to be installed with modular batteries that can be automatically exchanged at Ample battery swapping stations in a targeted time of five minutes.

This collaboration is expected to result in faster system integration of vehicle data from various logistics partners and simplifying data processes, intended to optimise fleet management efficiency.

The 8-ton gvw buses are produced by J-Bus, a bus-producing joint venture between Hino and Isuzu Motors.

The company has signed a European sales and service agreement with German EV charging service provider GP Joule Connect, for Germany, Denmark, Austria, and Poland. Kempower will be responsible for the installation, operation, service and maintenance of its EV charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, which also include CVs.

BYD announced that it will offer potential U.S. customers, application assistance in applying for funding through the 2023 Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Clean School Bus Grant Program. 2023 sees USD 400 million of funding in this round with BYD offering two eligible battery electric school bus models under the program: The Achiever (Type A) and the Dreamer (Type D).

The cement and concrete manufacturer, based in Calgary, Alberta, is looking to transition its fleet to 100% electric vehicles with Vicinity Motor’s Class 3 ‘VMC 1200’ trucks.
