Meritor will support PACCAR in its federal-funded research project by providing its 'Blue Horizon ePowertrain' technology.

BYD Inc has received orders for 100 units of its 12m eBus from Israel, and a further 25 units from Spain. The purchase forms a component of the city of Barcelona's wider sustainability strategy.

State-owned Convergence Energy Services Ltd (CESL)1 November announced it was floating the ‘Grand Challenge’. Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) of Mumbai has signed a letter of intention (LOI) with the Transformative Urban Mobility Initiative (TUMI)1 E-Bus Mission, to develop a tailored implementation work plan for deploying electric buses in Mumbai. The TUMI E-Bus Mission will comprise a technical assistance plan and a plan to create a long-term adoption roadmap for Mumbai.
