The results showed significant improvements in fuel efficiency, engine braking, and power during shifting, making the combination ideal for heavy-duty operations.

A total of thirty charging points are planned, which MAN says would allow for up to five hundred trucks and buses to be recharged per day.

The projects cover five topic areas, including components for hydrogen fuelling of medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, and standardised hydrogen refuelling stations.
