Daimler Truck North America LLC of Portland, Oregon, NextEra Energy Resources LLC of Juno Beach, Florida, and BlackRock Real Assets of New York, have signed a memorandum of understanding to initiate a joint venture for the design, development, installation, and operation of a nationwide charging network for medium and heavy-duty electric vehicles in the US.

The transaction makes Cummins the sole owner of the 'Cummins Wesport Inc' joint venture specialising in spark ignition gas engines.
