Iveco looks to push low carbon and clean drivelines in the truck and bus markets of Latin America. Iveco has now supplied the first 17 units out of a total of 20 of the Hi-Way NG 6X2 600S46T tractor unit – gas powered trucks with biomethane is seen by many in Brazil as being a sustainable transportation solution in the country.

Already producing heavy and medium duty trucks, XCMG is now offering product for the large light-duty sector.

Iveco launches complete electric bus in Uraguay.

Electric-powered medium and heavy-duty vehicle manufacturer, GreenPower Motor Company Inc, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, has appointed Peterson Trucks Inc as its official school bus dealer in the state of Oregon, with plans to expand throughout the USA.

The Ebusco 3.0 18-metre articulated city bus is designed for urban and regional transport operations and has a capacity for 150 passengers. It is powered with a choice of cobalt-free LFP 350+ and 500+ kWh battery packs, offering a range of up to  700 km.

ADL will supply Transport for Greater Manchester with 50 low-emission electric double-deckers.

ACEA is now lobbying for an interim review of the proposed Euro VII emissions standards and will publish a revised proposal to these regulations early this year.

After signing an agreement to supply Italian public procurement company, Consip SpA, with 80 e-Atak buses in 2021, it is to provide another 27, by the end of 2023.

The vehicle is the E-Delivery 11, which offers 11.4-ton gvw capacity and comes with a 300 kW electric motor and three LFP battery modules totalling 105kWh storage capacity and is capable of providing autonomy of up to 110km.

The YT200EV terminal tractor features 350 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries that provide up to 10 hours of operation and can be fully charged within an hour.

'MAN SimplePay' allows the truck to automatically pay for fuel at the pump and forward the bill to the fleet manager, meaning that the driver does not have to pay manually by cash or card. 

The manufacturing facility in Piracicaba, Sao Paulo, is set to open in Q1, 2023. Ultra-high energy (UHE) battery packs (AKASystem AKM CYC) are to be built for supplying the markets in South America.
