At the Mellatracks location, a 600m by 40m “snow flat”, a 200m-diameter “snow and ice circle”, and a 1,750m “snow handling track” have been added.

The company has invested capital into doubling its windscreen manufacturing capacity from 35,000 to 70,000 by the end of 2027. In September, it commissioned a new ScreenMax bending furnace from Glaston Oyj and plans to add new glass cutting tooling and lamination equipment over the next two years.

Kempower is supplying 110 of its advanced DC fast-charging solutions (150 kW Satellite Chargers) for an electric bus depot project in Perth. Addelec will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of Kempower’s chargers.

The Hedin Mobility Group has purchased the dealership and retail services network in the Nordic countries in Sweden (Gothenburg, Helsingborg and Malmö), Norway (Bærum), Finland (Espoo) and Denmark (Odense).

With this expansion, Kempower is targeting the Turkish charge point operators, municipalities and public transport authorities. This is a milestone for Kempower, which continues to enter new markets as part of its strategy for growth.

Last month, Fastcharge opened the country's first electric-truck-dedicated charging hub, just outside of Oslo. Kempower installed the equipment (high-powered Satellite DC chargers) but the smart e-mobility solutions provider Wennstrom, is responsible for the service and maintenance of the EV charging infrastructure.

FPT has appointed Rotator Oy as an authorised distributor of its full range of engines in Finland. Headquartered in Pirkkala, Rotator Oy is a machine import and after-sales company offering product sales, spare parts, technical support and maintenance services to the Finnish market.

The bus is operating on a 5.8km route, with 17 stops, navigating 20 pedestrian paths. The bus is managed by the local public transport company Remoted.

The high-powered 1.2 MW chargers are expected to go into series production later this year and initially, will be rolled out in Finland and then later to other parts of Europe and North America.

This is Kempower’s second factory but the first in North America with the primary facility in Lahti, Finland. This expansion will further help Kempower to service the North American market with its Kempower C- and S-Series range of electric chargers.

Delta claims that its new 500kW DC fast EV charger (UFC 500) can fully charge a 460 kW powered electric truck/bus within two hours, whilst simultaneously charging two EVs at up to 250kW each. The USP, according to Delta, is the power ratio versus its compactness/footprint ratio. This is largely due to the patented internal circuit topology.
