The German manufacturer says the order for 27 battery electric buses from Ledermair is the largest order for electric buses the company has received thus far from a private operator in Austria.

100 more Volterra ZSL vehicles will join Republic Services’ fleet, following the fulfilment of a 50-unit order placed a year ago.

Already in production since late 2023 for delivery to São Paulo, the eO500U is designed, developed and built at the company’s facilities in ABC Paulista, São Caetano do Sul.

The Slovak company unveiled the tractor unit at a press event – a Ford F-Max truck retrofitted with a range-extended electric powertrain and dubbed ‘M&I RH120R’.

The eTrucks will be offered in 4x2 and 6x2 axle configurations and a myriad of options affecting the wheelbase, the cab, the number of batteries, the battery pack layout, the position of the charging port, suspension, and so on.
